Yeah, but that made sense with what happens in the book. IMO. In the same way that Marsali being in mourning clothes on the Ridge did. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Neither were specific to who she had lost.

But I didn’t notice that there weren’t any “after” stills or scenes released of Fergus like there were of Marsali.

Today I’m making an effort to hold onto the both / and of it all…

I’m incredibly disappointed at how this final season is playing out.

AND

I recognize that “ending well” is not a given. It’s the exception. This is not a unique experience. Others have found a way to navigate this and I will too.

I don’t have many “hot takes” because I find people use them as an excuse to be rude.

But here’s mine:

Season 8 was doomed the moment they decided to air Blood of My Blood before the original series was finished.

(and that dropping the BOMB s2 trailer before this week’s episode was intentional)

Do I wish they hadn’t tried to fit Faith!Lives into an already full final season? YEP 🫠

But I’m a sucker for a F!L storyline and since they’re clearly committed to it, I’M IN.

(Doesn’t mean we can’t point out the ways it could have been better btw)

Long Covid Adventures Log #1969 —

I’m watching the Nova documentary about Artemis II.

They referred to it as being a “crewed mission.”

But my brain heard CRUDE and was offended for several moments before I remembered the word CREWED existed.

Homophones are hard today. 😵‍💫

S8E7 will probably fall into one of those categories for me.

I will try not to be cranky (cuz none of us had any input into what this ep covers and y’all don’t need to be the recipients of my crank) but I make no promises. 😑

Just throwing this out there now —

I have been dreading this week’s episode since they revealed that Fersali would be in season eight.

There are episodes I’ve watched once and refuse to rewatch. There’s an episode I’ve skipped over entirely and will likely never watch.

I found the embroidery hoop I’ve been looking for (FOR MONTHS)… It was in with my stickers. 😑

I’ve been encouraged to find a word game to play to help with my brain fog…

What’s an *easy* beginner level app that you would recommend? (Not opposed to something designed for kids)
