Today we celebrated our own VE Day! 💃🕺To end of our WW2 topic we found out about how life has changed due to WW2, took part in some 1940s style dancing and created our own breaking news clips!
Easter bunny stopped by Antonine today and left behind a very exciting Easter hunt for all.
We were so busy hunting for our eggs, including Mrs Young, that we barely got any photographs! It was a hard search but eventually we all found our very own chocolate egg! 😋
It's nearly the holidays but our Rights Ambassadors are still hard at work planning our Climate Heroes focus for Term 4.They will tackle SDG 2 (zero hunger)💪. When we return, they will be looking in more detail at the lunch hall (waste and recycling). Keep up-to-date on here!

Wow, wow, wow! Leading the Learning p1/2 Art and Design skills were fantastic today. The children learnt about the artist Mondrian. Next, they used rulers to make black lines and could only use the 3 primary colours to create a MONDRIAN inspired heart. Have a look at some of these completed pieces.

We are very proud of our superstar children using the large equipment in the school gym hall. Developing confidence, encouraging others and showing awareness of being safe. 💛
During leading the learning today the fitness club focussed on developing their basketball skills 🏀⛹️♀️⛹️

We have been learning about Roman Soldiers and today we painted our own shields using traditional colours and designs 🏛️🛡️
Today we learned all about the magic force of magnets. We learned some new vocabulary; attract and repel. We made predictions about what was magnetic and then tested it out.
Our junk modelling station was a huge hit today, so much so that we have almost run out of junk! If you can help us please bring some in tomorrow 😃. Thank you!

We have created our very own Antonine ElC campsite. 🏕️
Lots of creativity, imagination and teamwork as children made a tent, fire pit and designed their own campsite logo.

This afternoon we began by designing some Viking jewellery.
Today, some of us tried Colourful Semantics for the first time. We made funny sentences and discussed who, doing, and where parts of a sentence. Awlfterwards, we practised writing our sentence using finger spaces.
We are super proud of Antonine’s Allstars who competed at Albert Halls in Stirling last week. They should be immensely proud of themselves, we certainly are.
