First time I saw this was at Edinburgh Fringe in 2012. Tonight was their 1500th show. I don’t know how the hell they do it but I can never ever recommend them enough. Go see it for yourself. Bravo, @showstoppermusical.bsky.social

Six singers performing on stage, with an on stage band, under a bright lit up sign saying “SHOWSTOPPER!”. To the right is a sign listing the show’s name “I’m still not sure they’re mine”, and a list of inspirations: War of the Worlds, Pippa Cleary, Guys and Dolls, and Hairspray.
As previous picture, but the cast are in the middle of their bows
As before, but Hannah Waddingham has wheeled a cake out in stage in celebration of it being their 1500th performance
As before but another cast member (who is also the guitarist) is addressing the audience.

Omg yeah I completely get that hesitation. Main thing is most people don’t even think to look at your bio before assuming. I even got a “urgh we don’t care about your American politics” from non-US folks when a post of mine about the US election went viral on threads lollllll you can’t win.
I put “Londoner” in every online bio because that’s my whole personality, and it has never stopped them 🙃
Derry Girls is iconic.
The three main characters from How to Get to Heaven from Belfast stand unsure within the hallway of a large old country Irish house.
Cannot express how good How to Get to Heaven from Belfast is, or how much its millennial soundtrack absolutely slaps. Hilarious, scary, and gorgeous too!
Welfare helps people participate in society. It also moves money around the economy, keeping it healthy. They call it a “cost”.
AI cuts jobs, makes useless un-copyrightable content, raises the energy bills of anyone living near them, and makes no money. They call it an “investment”.
🙃

I’m getting the WHOLE screen now…
With regards to how well Bluesky is working today:
We can tell. 🙃
I genuinely thought it was a parody/skit when I first saw it.
The number of games where I’m just like “hmmm I WONDER if someone on the narrative team just became a girl-dad”.
Waiting for the mother-son dynamic in an AA/AAA game where it isn’t just “son looking for/avenging dead mother”.
Pokémon Pokopia is great, especially when you’re NOT feeling great.
But yeah, a delayed and unique review style video due to my chronic disease knocking me on my arse for a bit.
Hard agree. Spoonful of peanut butter stirred into ramen broth is a great way to add protein to a cheap meal, making you feel fuller for longer (plus a whole pak choi for a portion of veggies 🥬).
Will say I adore the new God of Wars but like, where the hell is BioShock? Portal (1 or 2, both classics), ANY non combat titles? I know some of this will come from it being young people voting, but games media/older gamers are letting them down if we’re not flagging this stuff as stuff they’d love
Arkham City better than Arkham Asylum is a crime (I still love city but asylum is just perfect)
If I can enjoy Onward, boys should be able to enjoy Turning Red. Men’s stories are not the default in life, and fiction is one way to help us empathise with those who are different to us.
(Also, one of my red flags I’ve had for years is when dudes put Brave at the bottom of their Pixar tier lists.)
Weird Kidney Club 🎶 (less catchy than Pink Pony Club)
My kidneys have been absolute bitches the past couple of weeks, fine for a few days then bleh for the next few days after, so cheers to the Oxbox crew for looking after Oxtra while I’ve been in and out of work and not well enough to be on camera.
(Feeling better now, planning to cinema soon).

He’s not werf it, Dave!
Yeah definitely better!
Nope. We make 3 thumbnails and YouTube tests them for us and chooses the one that performs best.
That thumb was just the one of the 3 I picked for social posts.
I watched Enola Holmes the other night. Gave it 3 stars with “cute!” as part of my review. That means it’s worth a watch.
Similarly 7/10 isn’t bad, game fans.
If you like flapjacks and you’ve not left already, I recommend you try some Millionaire’s Shortbread.
He didn’t write a novel.
To quote my dad: “nice to see some good news out of America for once…!” Good luck Artemis II! Safe space flight! 💜🚀
“It looks European and the stars are like minions!”
…it was made by Illumination, my dude.
I’ve not seen the film, but this reads like a guy who doesn’t realise there are 3D Mario games, or that this film gets its name from some of them.
Omg I love
