I can’t confirm that he finished eating that apple, angrily.

No orange juice in my coffee this morning. So far, so good. Beautiful sunny morning in the PNW.

I remember how frustrating it was that they never released the original theatrical versions on VHS - just those Silver/Gold Special Editions.
On this day in 2019, I witnessed one of the coolest things ever. A lenticular cloud lit-up by a setting sun over the Perito Morena Glacier in Argentina.
Kelp DAO bridge hacked for $292 million An attacker stole 116,500 rsETH (restaked ether) from a blockchain bridge run by Kelp DAO. Based on prices at the time of the theft, the stolen tokens would be worth around $292 million — however, the attacker is likely to face challenges selling a quantity of tokens that amounts to 18% of rsETH's circulating supply. When tokens are bridged from one chain to another, the tokens on the original chain are locked in the bridge smart contract while the token is used on the other chain, preventing its owner from double-spending the asset. With 116,500 locked rsETH now stolen, those using the token on other blockchains are now holding possibly unbacked tokens.
The rush for holders to offload their dubiously backed tokens is likely to worsen contagion throughout defi protocols, where those platforms could be left holding the bag. Some platforms, including Aave, Lido Finance, and Ethena, have paused markets involving rsETH to try to protect themselves. This hack has set the new record for the largest defi hack in 2026, following the $285 million Drift exploit on April 1.

If it's Tim Hortons, absolutely. Just deep-fried grease.
Did you blockade the stand and place bets that lemonade prices would rise to $10 ?
Of course. After the markets ran, time to reset, place bets and let it dump again for more money-making.

People tried to scam insurance by dressing up as a bear and wrecking luxury cars.
"Investigators then took the video to biologists with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to also look at the video. The biologists said, 'it was clearly a human in a bear suit.'"

Which is good, actually.
God I was getting yelled at by some upper middle class woman the other day because she had gone to a talk I gave and didn’t “give her anything to hope for,” and as I was standing there in wet socks cause my boots have holes in them and 43$ in my bank account I had this exact same thought on repeat.
It really sucks that "The Peripheral" series ends on the cliffhanger it does, knowing that show will never continue.
yeah, unfortunately this is not uncommon right now.

Anne Hathaway bought the rights to a novel about a tradwife influencer who wakes up in 1855 and has to actually live the life she's been selling online. The book is called Yesteryear. It came out 3 days ago. The film rights were already sold to Hathaway, who will produce and star.
Holy shit, I have NEVER been more excited for a movie.
