D'xel is the grandson of D'rummel, the miqo’te who took Mousey in.

It takes a certain kind of knight and a firm... hand. Fray: It seems the good knight should have no trouble then... I know that I shouldn't ask, but might I take a peek? They seem to have arrived inside a building, presumably where the knight is staying or posted. It's revealed that Paulecrain sits on a box and Grinnaux leans in the door frame behind Fray. Fray has a terrified expression on his face, the reality that he's been tricked is sinking in. The Dzemael are not happy with him for winning his trial. It continues to be a stain on the House name, even if Fray is a bastard. Fray has made plenty of trouble for them in spite. Paulecrain: Isn't that right, Ser Grinnaux? Grinnaux: Piss off, Paulecrain.

Some time passes. A first person view is given of a blood-soaked floor and a plated greave is in frame, looking as if the owner will step on the viewer. The perspective is of someone on the floor. The edges of the frame are greyed, indicating that the viewer is losing vision.
