So she had a pulse. That’s what the doctor on the scene wanted to check. She wasn’t breathing, but she had a pulse. He could have started CPR right away.

Instead ICE barred the doctor from attending her and waited 15 mins for EMT to get to her.

Another rejection. And of course, I will never give up, however - to get the same kind of form rejection many times in which an agent says something like “It may not be a fit for me, children’s publishing is so subjective and I’m sure someone else will find it’s the right fit for them.” Onward!
