Agree and to my original point. Change of habits are hard. I am using this app more and more. Finding people I followed on the "Nazi App" more and more. I am hopeful that I hit that 40-60% soon. FB was hard to delete because of family/friends. The other app will be easy...once I can replace it.

I'm a nobody on Twitter, but it has been a source for news and sports updates for me. The level of BS to sift through is bad but it is currently the best for that need. Once this place, or any other place, can fill 40-60% of that utility, I will delete it in a heartbeat. This app gives me hope.

Like a lot of the suggestions. One I will add, when they are 11-12, if they are still fascinated, look for a local Civil Air Patrol chapter. Has a little military/discipline feel...but the stuff those kids get to do is awesome. Our son flew..a...plane at the age of 13.

It takes a while for habits formed over years to be changes. It took me almost a year from when I decided to quit FB to when I actually did (though the pandemic news cycle was a factor)
