I also hope the booing at halftime and full time was for the officials. I really hope it wasn’t for the team. Undeserved if it was.

Disappointing but there will be more off days. It’s just the start, still unbeaten and if we are drawing games when we are poor instead of losing then you never know. Ageu a mile off being match fit, need a much bigger sample. If we are in the conversation come May, will still be huge progress.

A bit off it today, missed Benni, didn’t look after the ball, played through is too easily. Braga and shanks assaulted all game, Dundee Utd are a gang and some questionable decisions. The break has maybe come at the right time.

He looked miles off it. Won’t judge on that though.

We weren’t great against them but they were very poor against us at Tynecastle I thought, although looked decent in European games. They also seem to have the reverse of that St Mirren result in them just as easily. Maybe a Hampden hangover for St Mirren.

Not my favourite thing to watch, but some comments from open goal are interesting, the Dmc interview talking about the scope of the data, who Eastkilbide’s best rated player was and another that Gassama was the only RFC player that rates. Maybe TB was actually being modest? What does he know?! 😂

This was a very interesting listen. More interesting comments from an expert and intellectual on Tony Bloom. Love the idea that Tony Bloom is playing chess while the rest of us and potentially Scottish football are playing draughts.

Fancy Ageu to get his first goal for Hearts tomorrow if playing, Dundee Utd will pay a lot of attention to Kyzi, Shankland and Braga, could leave some space for Ageu. 🤞

Not posted on here for ages, but I’ve developed an odd habit of thinking up silly Hearts related songs while walking my dog. This one after the Falkirk game. Inspired by the recent Braga song, i thought why not share the rubbish my brain has churned out.

Very much so, said the right things, tried to temper expectations but you can see he is excited. Dealt with a few daft questions well, you can see why the players wouldn’t mess with him.

He does, doesn’t he! spoke very well, mentioned all the right things tbf. Maybe it will be nice having a media favourite as our manager. Finally a spiritual successor to Alex MacDonald? 🤔 time will tell.

What do the guys think the true potential of the Bloom investment and Jamestown will be when it gets into full swing, consistently 3rd but less than 10 points to 2nd or turn us into the Scottish Athletico Madrid, sometimes in the right place to take advantage when the big 2 are in transition?

How I wanted my weekend to go vs the reality of my actual weekend. Adulting is less fun than not adulting. 😕

Yeah, not a lot in it for me tbf, late on tired legs etc. a foul yes, a card offence, not for me.

At the game I was convinced Steinwender had got a piece of the ball. After seeing the highlights, he didn’t. Fair enough, he got that correct. Ho hum. Aberdeen are still not very good though.

Indeed, well done Beaton for ruining a national showpiece as a spectacle. Couldn’t wait to get the red out. Zero thought on the game as a product. Also Aberdeen are terrible.

Didn’t get the ES335 thing when I was younger, I do now. Love this thing!

For anyone that loves guitars, keep an eye out for String Break guitar show next year. Went to this years show yesterday. Incredible collection of luthiers from all over the uk. This from Cranmer guitars one of several highlights for me. Several incredible builders based in Scotland.

Love the colour of the Strat on the end of the rack.

Delighted for Newcastle, thoroughly deserved. Big 1998 Scottish cup vibes. Especially at the end.

Picked up my lockdown Strat from walltowallmusic.co.uk in Bathgate after a set up, fret level and polish. Tremendous work and feels super slinky. Like a different guitar. A great place to take your instruments if you are local. Also has rehearsal rooms and does guitar lessons. Top place.

Agree. And getting better the longer he keeps fit. 2/3 and even sometimes 4 pressing him when he got the ball at times. Needed a little hand when Grant came on.

Beni on a completely different level to everyone on the park today… again! Grant done well to get a grip of midfield again when he came on. Elton not reading the line too well though. A tough watch at times but a huge 3 points. Onwards!

Peace to indulge in a Saturday afternoon + an ES335 + a bunch of cheap pedals + a couple of old Fender amps = perfect Saturday afternoon.

A player! 🙏 Equally as prolific on the goals front! 😂

Who was the last midfielder we had that was as good at looking after the ball as well as Beni does it?

1 year ago 3 0 1 0

100% agree, just very static at a throw in, nobody demands the ball, that’s been under at least the last 3 managers. Poor.

Only Shankland ever shows for the ball at a throw in and we never, ever take a quick one.
