Hell yeah, improvement is improvement, have you tried anything like refrag? I find it really helps to have something like that just to warm up for like 5-10 mins. Even just a prefire workshop map would be good.

Never too late, just gotta play and get experience, watch your demos and try to figure out where things go wrong and try to address them. I would say try and watch some videos because understanding fundamental things like angles, movement, nades/flashes go a long way in successful duels.

Best bet for quality demos would be pro matches www.hltv.org/results but if you want yours you can try leetify
