Nova Scotian born and raised Lowell MacDonald has passed away. Not many players from the maritimes managed to make it to the NHL in those days. He had a long successful career with Detroit, LA and Pittsburgh.

Puffins are social, so to attract them to Maine's rocky islands, National Audubon's Seabird Restoration Program put out decoys to attract real birds.
