I have small ear holes and they work great for me too! can’t remember what kind I have. I use them in my car (which is currently very loud on the highway) and for muffing background noise in office, cafe, etc. I have had them on my keys for a year or so and haven’t lost them!

I flip flop between journaling in Finch and several paper journals! also sometimes I want to draw vs write in my journal or even do a voice memo. Prompts can help sometimes! Also look into the Artist’s Way/morning pages (and writing less than 3 pgs if that’s daunting)!!
