There have never been more immaculate vibes radiating from a sprawling land of ancient lizard ruins.
I will not be at Summer Game Fest.
It’s my big goal for 2027 to cover the event with @crossplayconvos.bsky.social & my own channels.
More work to do before then! ✏️ 🎥
We played many cool video games at PAX East 2026!
Some of my faves included:
🛼 Canvas City
🧑🌾 Grave Seasons
💠 Crystalmancers
🍣 Moldwasher
🗡️ Curse Chapter: Dawnthief
🦝 Do A Crime

I’m beyond thrilled to share that I’m joining Games Done Quick as their new Creative Director.
I’ve been such a fan and admirer of GDQ for what feels like a lifetime. It’s a sincere dream to take what I’ve learned from building Six One and bring it to these *unbelievable* events and daily streams.
I spoke about some of my favorite games from Pax East. I'm going to need games like Well Dweller and Inkblood ASAP.

Yes and I enjoy it
This is my accountant. She will be doing my taxes for me (million dollar refund check incoming).
I would love if people that immediately clog the aisle even when the flight attendant says "please stay seated so people can make they're connecting flight" were cursed to miss their next flight.
I want to emphasize that there was not this much light in that room I don't know how this photo turned out so well
I regret nothing I did when this picture was taken

Mike begins his bittersweet farewell tour, as he prepares to officially step away from Six One Indie 💙

Tales from the Backlog episode 206- Bioshock. Image shows the game's logo with a Big Daddy in the foreground.
New today, @th3hoopman.bsky.social and I take the bathysphere down into Rapture for a deep dive into Bioshock, a game that feels as fresh as ever. As always no spoilers for a while, so would you kindly enjoy the show?

Already one of my favorite games of the year. Fun dialogue, active gameplay, and a reasonable time to beat.
Last but not least, Esoteric Ebb. I know a lot of people have been talking about it, but this is really the poster child for 2026 being the year of the CRPG. Love this more comedic take on the fantasy genre.

Wanderburg is just pure unadulterated fun. Probably the most satisfying gameplay loops of the week. Driving around on a castle on wheels blowing up other castles on wheels almost feels too addictive to be selling.

Phonopolis is one of those games where every moment you're playing, you wonder how some team actually made this. Artistically one of my favorite games of the week for sure. I'm wishing @amanita-design.net all the success, because I want more stuff like this.

Lots of drama and competing feelings about this one. I highly suggest you look into and make your own decision on if you want to support it. Keeping all of the developer stuff aside, the game is good. CRPGs are showing up in 2026 in a big way.

Look, I did my best in the video to explain what Titanium Court is. There's not nearly enough characters to do that here. Just know it's incredibly unusual and a lot of fun. Try it.

The Dungeon Experience was one of my favorite surprises of the week. It's a comedic parody on dungeon-crawler RPGs. Much needed with the news about the end of Smiling Friends this week 🥲.

Call of the Sea was one of those great GamePass hidden gems, so now I can't wait for Call of the Elder Gods. The puzzles are pretty tough (positive) and the Lovecraftian story is right up my alley.

I've been trying to give P&C games a chance, and The Mermaid Mask makes it easy. Fun dialogue, great art, and creative puzzles are going to make this a great cozy game (even though it is about murder).
