Anyone who shows up for this travesty is knowingly choosing to act as a prop for authoritarian kabuki because they’re too cowardly or amoral to pass up vapid schmoozing and free drinks. They deserve your contempt, and possibly a few pieces of rotting produce.
Good luck finding a politician with genuine humility!
I've seen a lot of references online to a "J. Edgar Boozer" and although I'm not saying anyone in particular deserves that appellation, I do think it would be the perfect name for someone serving as head of the Federal Bureau of Intoxication, if there were such a thing, which I'm not saying there is

There are unlimited genuine problems with higher education that all should be fixed, many of which Zimmerman mentions in article. But the main reason MAGA hate higher education is because of the good things it succeeds at doing, like promoting critical thinking and making citizens of all races smart
You know who else famously used paid informants to infiltrate extremist groups?
The Justice Department.
I’d un follow a guy like that
Yes, Donald, you are treasonous…
So, for example, the founders establishing the U.S. Post Office was one of the first faint stirrings of a socialistic mindset?
So Kash at times appears falling down drunk; as long as he can do his job as well as Hegseth…
Same with NAFTA; if it wasn’t his, it has to go so he can put something just like it in its place with his name on it.
For really a matter of decades, some in this country have confounded Western European style social democracy with post-WWII Soviet style Marxist-Leninism.
No government, not even an autocracy, can stand this level of corruption for very long.
When you have a strong prescription, big glasses are hell.
As long as they express unquestioning loyalty to him, he’s happy with it…
I have seriously lost track of how many times we've completely obliterated Iran's military and how many times Trump has reopened the Strait of Hormuz.
