Great progress on the emerald sword, decided to redo the iilt last night to try and make it more sweeping, and match up better with my concept scribbles. (Hilt picture is my rough concept test, I don't seem to have pics of the proper one). Got a lot more colour on the blade! #larp #foamsmith

Wow I haven't played Fading Suns for almost 20 years, and forgot there were larp rules for it - is your game using passion play, or something else? This has sent me down a rabbit hole!

This was the test, it's perfect hahah - attempting to put it on the blade itself didn't work, the stamp stuck to the blade, and didn't have good definition at all.

Will try masking it off next time to see if it's the sprayglue being a problem. Guess I'm painting this one on.

More progress on this crystal sword for Syzygy #Larp. Got the gems shaped and on, and some of the no more gaps filler applied. The makers mark isn't working, I'm wondering if the sprayglue on the area is getting reactivated by the heat gun. It's a shame, the test came out beautifully.

The return of Consequence Larp 4 years after the last game was like slipping on a pair of old boots, for this shithead and his partner in crime gryphonhollow.bsky.social. It was a really fun time, getting to use our new spoopy abilities, and deal with our bad choices.

After an approx 3 year hiatus (or 4, what even is time), Consequence, the Weird West larp has been resurrected (like much of these PCs), and it's this weekend. I'm excited as hell to bring back my charming shithead (profile pic), and larp this game again ❤️

Another archive build of a year or so ago - decided late in character prep that I shouldn't rely on nerf guns for post apoc combat, and quickly made this tactical tomahawk. .based slightly on a winkler design, but now in foam and plastidip. Also apparently the only pics I took of it. #larp

It feels good to be Making again. Really, really good. Tonight we worked out that we can make customisable weapon racks using 3M command mounts, and 3D printing a hook to hang our weapons on the walls.

Build from almost a year ago for a post apoc #larp World That Is. I had been playing a bunch of Cyberpunk 2077 at the time, so decided my character looted a spacegun from an Arcology, or supply crate. Base model is a #Nerf motoblitz, with #kitbashed additions.

I made it! I might post a build log on here as part of transferring data over.

Hahhaha I didn't have a good place for my World This Is post apoc #larp spacegun, and kept having to move it around. This morning I modified an existing file from yeggi, and now it has a place

Next step in this #larp machete! Weather is too shit to plastidip outdoors, so grip and blade sealing it is.

Need to build the pommel yet, and going to cover this and the transition from the foam to the wood with a leather grip cover

Auckland people, if you haven't tried Tempero in K-road, holy shit do. So good. The gnocchi with lemon sauce was so good i used a finger to lick the plate clean.
