Whereas "The View From Halfway Down" gut punches you with "Is the pain and terror of going through this extreme act that will probably be the last regret you ever have really worth it?"

So many suicide prevention campaigns are clearly not interested in the perspective of suicidal people, which is how you get so much "pwease don't kill yourself 🥺 just stop thinking about bad things and start thinking about good things"
To this day a piece of that media that has a massive impact on my life is the poem "The View From Halfway Down" from Bojack Horseman because it has legitimately done more for me in fighting suicide ideation than most typical suicide prevention campaigns.
I regret to inform you that this is me
Having the Nazi supervillain lady namedrop Pewdiepie as an example of something normal kids watch is probably one of the best bits of subtle humor they’ve ever done on this show
A drawing of Ardbert and Seto, both smiling at the viewer

Joanne closed her helpline for single parents right around when she announced she'd be donating heavily to anti-trans causes. They closed because of lack of funding.
She's a billionaire.
She doesn't care about "single mums".

Yeah that's fair.
I don't think it's about forcefemming her but about how her second appearance is supposed to be treated as a glow-up when it just robs her of her cool original identity
Undone by the blood
Got excited about the recent announcement

the "pill time" me with natsuko ishikawa smiling and looking at haurchefant, moenbryda, and ysayle saying "i love my character." then she holds maehiro's head and says "kazutoyo maehiro time." then she looks at her characters and says "i love my characters" as they fade away. then she looks much more serious and asks "where are my characters"
imagine making four major characters and three of them get killed by another writer but you manage to put the fourth one in a box that you don't open until you're lead writer and now the boy is practically immortal.
This version of Zenos looks like he would replace your blood pressure medication with sugar tablets because you told him to do the dishes once.
As easily as you have sworn off Harry Potter pish, you can stop buying games from Microsoft or Microsoft owned studios.
This is such a small ask and low bar to clear, there are thousands of other games available at any moment, but the impact can be huge.
hey ;)

Give Gunbreaker a second skill where they shoot themselves. Do it. It'd be funny.
An image showing peacemaker standing in front of Bridget guilty gear and that dolphin chick from the same game. His speech bubble is saying "Stand behind me transbians, I'll protect you from this chaser". Bridget is saying "Don't shoot! That's just my grandpa!". Nearby is Yoda saying "Adorable you girls look".
This came to me in a dream.
Can't believe Bloodborne got a movie before it got a PC release lol
True lol I got spoilers about who dies in Avengers: Endgame and my only reaction was, "Damn, I wonder how that's going to happen."
No, I won't go out of my way to spoil something for someone else, but I think if you're going to have a heavy presence on social media you should try to make peace with the fact that it's going to happen.
My hot take is that if getting spoiled absolutely ruins a story for you, that's on you. Stories have so much more to offer than the ways they might surprise you, maybe try engaging with that instead of focusing on how you don't get to be surprised anymore lol

Teledji Adeledji's float gets to be in the front of the parade.
That's fair!
If you end up liking Hokum, then I would highly recommend Damien McCarthy's other horror movies, Oddity and Caveat. They're extremely good.
