Out of control 🤪 I pawned 10 plants off of my SIL (I was only ever planning to plant 14) and these are what’s left. I need the weather to warm up like now, I don’t have more big pots lol

I didn’t even realize it was there the first couple years I worked here but it makes SUCH a difference! Anytime the power would go out and it would turn off we would all lose our minds lol. It’s been a week now 😭

I should go back and listen to all three! I’ve never listened to her books on audio but I’ve heard they’re great

God I love her. No one else writes with a stronger sense of place and with this level of atmosphere. You feel like you are walking Irish back roads alongside the characters. A slow burn as many of hers are, but damn, the writing is so good.

I’ve been practicing cutting / grinding with clear pane glass but this was the first time the pieces actually had to fit together 🙃

Today I did my first stained glass piece doing every step of the process. Up until now I’ve used pre-cut kits etc. but today I picked the glass, cut it, ground it, foiled it, soldered it, patinaed (patinated?) it, and waxed it 😅 I learned a lot!

This is so interesting! I learned from my allergist a couple years ago that I am highly allergic to maples. We have 4 in our back yard 🙈 (and an oak out front!)
