My post does not reflect this because I really love Half Life, but I agree! ๐

(Also just going off the ROM list I've built so far for this superstation there's a ton of shit from '98 I still wanna go back to lol)
That is obviously not meant to be comprehensive, just purely going off my subjective faves in each category.
Would be much easier to just do a top 3!
Yea okay, why not lol #blutoid

Accessories also got tariff related price increases iirc
This might be the most insane thing you've ever posted, and that's saying a lot ๐ญ
Whether or not it's fair I've long considered that outlet to be state media along with the gentlemen who runs the big june and december advertisement streams ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Clearly lol
Yea this i can't vibe with. 2.5/5 is not a score you give a film you like. Go read some Ebert 2/4 reviews, he did not like those movies lol
I will die on the hill that the industry should just adopt an A-to-F scale. There's no undoing the stigma associated with the grade school scoring so you might as well embrace it by making "50%" your "zero"
I also did this, but when i upgraded to a one x for red dead i got a 4TB usb drive because i never wanted to deal with that shit again ๐ญ
Can't speak for the round based co-op or PVP (i don't touch them) but the black ops 6 campaign was actually really great IMO
That aside, the window has long closed on this business model (game pass) working. Xbox's exit strategy continues...
๐๐๐
I love that game pass has become a lesson in why the cable business model sucks ("why am i paying all this money for sports channels i don't watch?")
Need the tier that removes the fortnite bullshit and the EA + ubislop stuff and puts the price back to $15
You used to be able to get 3 month ultimate codes for almost $30 even a couple years ago. I was already out when that stopped being the case.
It's not about the value, it's about the time -- i physically don't have enough to get my money's worth from a subscription this expensive.
Well that didn't take long.
As a reminder, before the activision sale every xbox studios and bethesda title used to be day one on game pass for $9.99 a month -- the price is still more than 2x what is was <3 years ago! bsky.app/profile/wari...
PSA: If you have a large head, large ears and/or wear glasses the xbox wireless headset is incredibly uncomfortable. The ear cups are too small and the headband is very rigid. You're better off going third party (the sound quality isn't that great either)
The avengers situation is so funny to me. Everyone thought warner would balk but they doubled down and now they have 3 weeks of imax exclusivity in north america lol
I'm having friends come visit from out of town this summer, we have plans to get together with their families at coney island, and you know how fucking cool I'm gonna feel when these little rugrats say "thank you uncle!" after i hand them point cards so they can play at the arcade??
Anyway stop being fucking weird on the internet
I have no desire to have or adopt children but every time i hear a child happily giggling on the subway or at the park or coming home from their school as i walk in my beautifully walkable city that shit makes me smile like a big dumb idiot.
@takiudon.bsky.social any chance of this being supported on superstation?
I'm still in complete disbelief that this film is being made -- and alex garland of all people is doing it!
Google, Apple, and Amazon proved they can't compete in this market. Epic and Microsoft will try, as they have on PC, and I think it will go about as well as it's gone on PC: Steam capturing 3/4 of the market while the rest fight over scraps.
Things could change, but that's how I see it now. 4/4
Steam has the most MAUs of any platform and by far the largest software library. Sony and Nintendo have no incentive to jeopardize their existing, healthy, closed platforms to complete in an open marketplace they aren't ready to bring their back catalog into the way Proton would. 3/
In a scenario where Proton runs on ARM and your Win x86 library is playable there -- especially in this regulatory environment where Google and Apple are being forced to open up their platforms to native clients which bypass their payments systems -- I think Steam has already won. 2/
The mobile gaming market today is almost exclusively slop or the addictive, dark patterns type shit that lives and dies by its whales. Again, Steam has that, but they also have "real" games, and there is currently no mobile store which is a viable market for those experiences. 1/
Proton bringing Steam to ARM works for Valve because the software library is already there. What does Sony gain from making a PS5 compatibility layer on a platform where they then have to compete with Valve? Them pulling back from PC tells me that wasn't profitable for them. 2/2
