My god, such a perfect line

I realized the best way for this story is to write one character with two points of view at the same time—don't wanna spoil it, but I think it's honestly the best way to capture the character's soul. Story itself isn't complicated at all, but the style IS the character.

I've had a short story in mind for about 14 years now, and I think I finally realized how I want to write it. Probably will be the most complicated thing I've written, but I'm starting today.

And I've wanted this to be the year of healing - healing from my gallbladder surgery was the main goal, but I think letting past traumas go is part of it. That doesn't mean forgiving; people gotta ask for that. But it means preparing to forgive.

Shingles, canker sores throughout my mouth... yeah, I think it's the end result of stress. Turns out being quiet about stuff for a decade then speaking about it isn't the most pleasant experience.

But it'll get better. Hurts like hell when you talk, but it leads to healing.
