...and turns out the dates on those two links are inconsistent so I've let staff know!

Ok, I actually found it today @elindie.bsky.social! Some future shutdown dates are listed here: www.metrotransit.org/track-signals
No, but as an employee who rides, I have relayed this question to marketing recently 🫤 I generally want/need info further in advance that it’s being published. I think this is the location it will get published though: www.metrotransit.org/rail-constru...

Sidewalk report in 55116: freezing rain. Walked to school and back no problem (just wet), then came home and my foot slid completely off the step trying to get in the house. Be safe, take it slow.
Do you like to ride your bike with friends (new & old)?
Do you also want to help our neighbors stay housed?
Have I got a great event for you, organized by my friend @chrisvaughan.bsky.social :
Before image of a nbusy city street featuring buildings with a mix of architectural styles, pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. Trees line the sides, and there are traffic signals visible. The scene is set on a clear day with blue skies.
After image of a city street scene featuring modern and classical architecture. Trees line the sidewalk which is paved with decorative pavers, and a clear blue sky is visible overhead. There are a few pedestrians and cyclists along the road.
A hand holds a printed image of a street scene featuring a parking area filled with cars, a stone monument in the foreground, and buildings in the background. The scene shows a mixture of trees and architecture, with a hill visible behind the buildings.
After image of the same scene where the former parking lot is now a plaza featuring a gray stone surface, lined with trees and historical buildings in varying architectural styles. In the background, a hill with a castle and flag is visible, under a cloudy sky.
Before and after in Ljubljana.
If you are following MnDOT's Rethinking I-94 project and are intrigued by the ideas like Twin Cities Boulevard that really reimagine this corridor, BUT you still wonder to yourself "Where will all the cars go?", then you have to read this excellent piece!
So many people still need help.
That’s so cool! I saw the Kings are doing Greek Heritage night & jerseys and I just briefly considered moving to LA…
If you’re attending No Kings at the Minnesota Capitol on 3/28 and coming from the west, note that I-94 eastbound will be closed. I wonder if @metrotransitmn.bsky.social knows about this.
Happy St. Patrick's Day, New York.
10000% yes
We are looking for an artist/designer/illustrator to design the poster and t-shirts for Open Streets Minneapolis this year.

(I’ll just be hanging out in the corner at the wedding, boiling some water in my travel kettle so my freeze dried meal can soak for 15 minutes, nbd)
Thank you for validating. I am traveling to a wedding in May and already losing sleep thinking about how/where I’m going to eat for a whole weekend. There’s only so many consecutive hours a person can do purse snacks…my backpacking meal game is pretty strong but so socially awkward 🙂
Thank you so much. I’m going to try to message you to get more info
This is good advice. Thank you. I felt some debt of gratitude to this doctor because she caught my vague symptom (fatigue) when others brushed it off, which then led to my celiac diagnosis. However, everyone’s replaceable!
Anyway, people should actually read the ADA and not be insensitive jerks by minimizing how difficult it is to live with chronic diseases.
Oh, my doctor told me celiac disease isn’t limiting and it’s not a disability (both untrue per the ADA). She said managing it is a “new normal” for me so it’s almost like not having a lifelong disease at all…errr
I shouldn’t be so surprised but she’s otherwise a very good doctor??
Open Streets but spontaneous/during snow storms & on hills that would be good for sledding

The Bay Area Considers the Unthinkable: Life Without BART - The Bay Area Rapid Transit system was once so successful, it could rely mostly on riders to sustain itself. But the pandemic dealt BART an unusually heavy blow. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/10/u... #transit #sfbart
My other grandpa was in the drive in movie business. They eventually closed, but my dad played so much free putt putt as a kid
My grandpa was a WWII vet who worked at a candy kitchen with his brother. Long after the shop was gone, he continued to make us caramels and peanut brittle.
Our next event has been announced and you can reserve a spot on our website. It’s this Saturday at BlackStack Brewing in St Paul and we’re partnering with @mndarkclouds.bsky.social for this one! rebelloonproject.org
