I was lucky enough to have met him and spoken to him many times through mutual friends. He loved gaming so much. He taught me about a weird connection between the Neo Geo Pocket Color and the Dreamcast. Taken too soon man, RIP.

Game prices have kinda sucked lately. I’m still fortunate enough to afford what I want but they are asking for so much. I can’t imagine being a kid right now, do you ask for a new game or just play the same thing for the 100th time?
I miss when games would drop down to $20. At least indies are good.

I also really like the menu improvements in the new version. Really minor stuff but it does make it feel a bit more “modern.”

Just finished Mother 3 after over a decade of seeing it online. I have a lot of thoughts about the game, can’t fit it all here, but that was one emotional trip. That ending still hit just as hard even though I knew what would happen. I now understand why so many people want it officially.

Sorry that happened to you folks. We’ve also been fighting them at Sega Retro for weeks now. The only way our web admin was able to stop it was implementing Anubis which unfortunately is pretty aggressive against lurkers.
Hopefully you guys can figure something out.

Been playing through the kingdom hearts series the past 2-3 months and I finally understand why everyone is either Sora or Xehanort. Placing bets on the Master being a Sora ancestor because why not.

I got really lucky and got a copy on PS5 at a GameStop. The catch is that it was literally the only copy in my whole city.

The “main” villain wasn’t done very well and was super forgettable. Otherwise I actually quite enjoyed Ross’ character in this movie, on a traditional rating scale I’d say this was a solid 5-6/10. Probably not gonna watch this one again anytime soon.

Finally finished Mario Wonder after putting it off for a while. Game was really fun! It wasn’t particularly difficult but the unique Wonder effects made going for 100% super fun. A casual platformer is just what I needed lately.

Well, it’s definitely a lot better than the nonstop doom and gloom a lot of other people tend to hammer on in the sonic fanbase. It makes your criticisms seem more genuine rather than just being a crazy person rambling like so many others come off as.

Finally got peer pressured into trying Mother 3 from my friends. The game has been on my backlog for about 12 years now and wow people weren’t lying! It’s really good!

Great list man! City of Evil is definitely a standout of A7X and bad is also a fantastic album. I was never a big Nirvana guy myself though.

I’m really digging the new Armored Core game. I was pretty skeptical about it but man is it a nice change from Fromsoftware’s typical games. My favorite thing so far has to be how fluid and smooth everything feels.

I actually just bought a kit off of Amazon that had what I needed, otherwise you could try checking out Digi-Key. Their website is a bit confusing but you should be able to find it, the resistor should be a 13 Ohm +-5%

Changing the clock battery for my Dreamcast and I accidentally broke the new resistor. Luckily I got the leg reattached, tested it with a multimeter, and it still works!!! This was fun to do.

I love having a new media app to goof around in. Can’t wait until it’s big enough for the logo to be an abstract cloud shape.
