This is my fave Bunnymen track. I’m a massive fan and was very lucky to see them a lot in mid 80s Lpool. This track is so cool - dripping in psych and Velvets but with that sad reflective Mersey-beat tinged bass-line. Genius track 🙏🏻❤️ @willsergeant.com

A superb book. I was slightly too young to fully connect with the Liverpool post punk scene at its zenith - but your tales none the less left me feeling overwhelmingly nostalgic. You, Will, Les, the great Peter de Freitas and others inspired my Birkenhead sixth form’s “outsiders” … much respect x
