The experience of forced adoption can profoundly impact one's connection to valued groups, which, as previous #socialidentity literature indicates, has significant implications for health and well-being.
This also highlights some key implications of the work, particularly in relation to the controversial #redressscheme. The results clearly show that the six-month cutoff is not a reliable indicator of whether someone suffered harm.
