Of course, leaving twitter made fundraising much harder. It's hard to get the word out about our puzzles without the reach we had built there!
Our 2025 fundraiser has only a couple weeks left, and we're still pretty far from our (admittedly ambitious) goal of raising $50,000.

Since then, we've created 4 more packs of professional-quality crosswords focused on social and reproductive justice, and every year we partner with the National Network of Abortion Funds to run our fundraiser.
To date, we've raised $356,649 for abortion funds.

So we decided to use those skills for good: we got together to create a pack of high-quality reproductive justice themed crossword puzzles to exchange for donations to abortion funds.
And it worked! People from all over donated money to help people access abortion care.

One skill I did have, however, was making crossword puzzles. I, and many of my rad progressive friends in the crossword community, create puzzles for the New York Times, the USA Today, the LA Times, and other crossword puzzle venues.
