So much overheated commentary on this graphic. Obviously the BBC is (or perhaps ‘was’ now…) planning to do the same for other parties, it’s not a sop to Reform voters etc.

Indeed, I don't get sanctimonious about people's voting choices. People vote who they do for all sorts of reasons.

Fair enough, I thought you were being picked on :-)

I'm certainly to the right of the median Bluesky user but I'd say I'm a pretty solidly on the Left. bsky.app/profile/matt...

A bit rude though, I wouldn't have been happy

Sure I get it, you think on balance the Greens are the lesser of two evils. I just completely disagree with that assessment. If forced I might even say Reform are the lesser of two evils. That's why I wouldn't vote for either.

I could never vote for a party that has an Islamist as its deputy and has welcomed all the worst people that joined Labour under Corbyn.

Yeah, seems the sensible thing to do. If it was between the Greens and Reform I think I'd spoil my ballet paper.

I voted Conservative once in the '90s in a local election as a protest vote (I forget the reason). This might be the second time. I'm motivated because I know a Reform council would be a shit show.

Should I vote Conservative in the locals to keep out Reform? It's quite Right-wing where I am and Labour don't stand much of a chance (I'm not sure I could vote Green tbh but they're in an even worse place than Labour here so irrelevant).

I'm pleased it's acknowledged there's a difference between progressivism and liberalism 👏👏👏

Feel like I'm going mad. There were four people in Britain saying the appointment of Mandelson was anything other than a great move. One of them worked for the FT and the other three were leftist shitposters. These TV programmes were still inviting Mandelson on as a waspish guest, months later.

Fair point

Over 18 months as PM. Has collapsed Labour's polling share from low 40s in early 2024 to high teens now. Policy agenda remains unclear. Has fired 2 chiefs of staff, 2 cabinet secs, 4 comms directors, head of FO. Poor relationship with Cabinet and MPs. But somehow this is social media... 🤔

Also they have social media in Canada and Carney's doing fine.

They have it in Spain and Sanchez has been PM since 2018.

And in France where Macron's been President since 2017.

Blimey, the Trudeau government got something right.

What has that got to do with Miliband who wasn't even an MP? (Very conveniently so he didn't have to take a public position.)

15 hours ago 0 0 1 0

He certainly isn't the only person who thinks about stuff. He's the only one that thinks about stuff you agree with.

I'll never forget the sight of cheering Labour MPs because they "got one over" Cameron at the same time those videos emerged of children with froth coming out of their mouths after a chemical attack. It disgusted me.

Agree, that was a very low point. He disgraced himself, no other way of putting it.

Not just Miliband. Serial election loser Neil Kinnock is very popular too.

I suppose that's cope for backing Miliband. He'll be so good he'll turn around his deep unpopularity. Call me a sceptic on that one.

Okay I wasn't disputing that. My point was the soft-Left like losers and it would be better if they stopped doing this.

I'm not sure what your point is. I thought Cameron was a disaster. Did my tweet suggest I thought otherwise?

16 hours ago 1 0 1 0

Yes, that's what I meant. Being popular on Bluesky doesn't count I'm afraid.
