In our cyberpunk comic series Killtopia, a horde of killer mecha has taken over Neo Tokyo (and they’ve infected most humans with a nanomachine plague - yikes!)

Crash is the only mech that knows the cure, triggering a city wide brawl to claim him

Explore the comic at: killtopia.co

Shares welcome ❤️

Quest for Camelot - I Stand Alone
Quest for Camelot - I Stand Alone YouTube video by Rotten Tomatoes Family

Still one of the best explorations of ability, self-reliance and social rejection from a disabled character we have in popular fiction today and it's almost 30 years old but at least it's Clair Wendling character design heck yes

A movie poster for Palestine 36, depicting a Palestinian freedom fighter tying up a white scarf around his head and gazing with sharp eyes. He is surrounded by both British and Arab soldiers clashing. There are two British flags hanging on the upper left. The movie poster depicts the names of the director (Annemarie Jacir) and actors (Karim Daoud Danaya, Hiam Abbas, Robert Aramayo, Billie Howle, Dhaffer L'Abidine, Yasmine Al Massri, Liam Cunningham, Jeremy Irons).

I love how Annemarie Jacir brought the character-driven, grounded sensibility in her previous works to "Palestine 36" and the way she inserted the (colorized) archival footage of Palestinians from the 1930s, making them as alive and present in our eyes as the actors in the foreground. #Filmsky

A light breeze whispers through mirabelle trees in full bloom in a sunny south-went garden. The little pond trickles, still missing its fish. The temperature is just right, and

It's been so interesting to watch this unfold. Barnes & Noble and other big book chains shut indies down in the the 1990s (and on) and then Amazon came along and ate up all the book market share. Now people tired of big corporations are creating demand for more indies

We all known A*azon tends to sell books bellow list prices, but I've recently found them selling books at below WHOLESALE prices. I know this because I own a store. That's fucked up.
Anyways, support your local book stores. Shit's tough.

Couldn't tell!
I took Fowkes' course last year and your adaptations are pretty close to his demos - not every line is always necessary, after all

Head studies

About a year and a half ago I grabbed a pile of movie screencaps off Shotdeck for head studies, and looking at the first couple of pages next to the last couple it’s neat to see that even after all this time, The Grind still has an effect and I can still make visible progress in just a few months

A digital illustration of two japanese lesbians flirting in a queer underground bar in the 80s. One of them wears a blue jacket, the other a suit, while in the background there's liquor and a multitude of little stickers and illustrations of lesbian and queer marks.

A digital illustration of two japanese lesbians flirting in a queer underground bar in the 80s. One of them wears a blue jacket, the other a suit, while in the background there's liquor and a multitude of little stickers and illustrations of lesbian and queer marks.

The full illustration I did for @taplingzines.bsky.social "We've Always Been Here"

The zine depicts queer couples throughout cultures and history and I had the honours of portraying a Japanese lesbian couple in an underground bar during the 80s✨

That's not to say that you shouldn't be careful how you use these glasses. Meta doesn’t have the greatest track record on privacy, and the company has continued to push forward with policies that are questionable at best. Even if you’re not concerned that face recognition will allow Meta to target immigrants or enable stalkers to find their victims, at the very least, people really do not like the idea that you could start recording them at any moment.

Probably the biggest hurdle to wearing Meta glasses is that even doing so seems like a gross violation of the social contract. After all, these are Mark Zuckerberg's “pervert glasses.” When I pop these on my head, I’ve had friends (and my spouse) recoil and say, “I have apps to warn me away from people like you.” The best part, though, is that Oakley and Ray-Ban already make really great sunglasses. Even if the battery runs out or you don't use Meta AI at all, these are stellar at shading your eyes from the sun

Palantir put out the most cartoonishly evil statement possible. They’re so arrogant and self-confident they don’t seem to believe their fascistic plans can be opposed.

We must get rid of Palantir altogether.

True Story: Part of my current self actualization journey began when I saw some trans men showing off their fits and tattoos and I thought to myself "Man, I wish I could look as cool as them ... wait a minute ... I CAN!"
