Finally had a chance to sit down and peruse my new Wisden. Interesting stat about Surrey’s wicketkeepers last season…

Watching “Grayson Perry Has Seen The Future”…there are some nutters out there aren’t there? AI companions are straight out of Black Mirror.

What do you mean the person inside the Stitch costume? Is it not really Stitch? Young children are far too canny!

Fiorentina have decided that since they can’t win they’ll injure as many Palace players as possible. #cpfc

Reckon George Lucas is sitting pretty at Skywalker Ranch thinking about all the people who said that a blockade of a major trade route was a stupid thing to base a movie around?

A truly astonishing state of affairs for the “Beautiful Game”. Who honestly is buying tickets for this horrific tournament?

Something Trump could learn from Orban…graciousness in defeat.

Don’t disagree. Maybe Burnley can suddenly win all their remaining games and both teams go down. My worst experience in football involves Spurs fans - maybe that colours my point of view.

Palace beating the ‘Toon probably ensures PL footy next season. So…losing to West Ham and putting Spurs closer to relegation could be very funny indeed. #cpfc

He’s absolutely correct. The idea that a manager of Marks and Spencer could join as a Superintendent was (and still is) utter madness. Looking at policing through a ‘business lens’ just doesn’t work.

Surrey absolutely motoring this morning. Nothing much better than a County Championship game at The Oval.

Possibly the most challenging part of my Spitfire build, which I’ve been putting off for months. However, the engine has been mounted on to the plane!

With the impending WW3 scenario incoming, I am going to spend this evening playing Fallout 4. It’s probably the best preparation for living post-apocalypse. #WW3 #Fallout

Surrey were unbelievably poor today. Hopefully their bowling attack will get into gear tomorrow.

Visited the Cornish Seal Sanctuary at Gweek last Thursday. Mostly permanent residents there at the moment. But roughly 40 grey and common seal pups were rescued and released over the winter period. Many were the victim of entanglement in netting or other waste dumped in the sea.

Is that His Majesty’s? Saw my first ever ballet (Swan Lake) there and a splendid production of The Rivals, too.

Seems unlikely. First approved by the US Dept of Agriculture in 1975. We joined EU in 1973.
