The BC Separatist and Small-Scale Farmer Who’s Enthusiastic About Hitler | The Tyee The leader of the BC Prosperity Project says Curtis Stone’s views don’t reflect those of the wider group.

Up until a few days ago, Curtis Stone - an off-grid farming influencer -was a moderator for a B.C. separatist group's Facebook page.

He's openly talked about his enthusiasm for listening to Hitler speeches, "love" of antisemitism, and says he's a white nationalist.

This Earth Day, we’re reminded that protecting our environment and growing our economy go hand in hand. Through Canada’s 2030 Nature Strategy, we’re working to protect 30% of our land and water by 2030 and restore the ecosystems that sustain us.

From clean technology to conservation on the ground, Canadians are leading the way.

Let’s keep building a cleaner, stronger Canada for generations to come.

The Dishonest Online Campaign to Support Alberta Separatism | The Tyee A research group raises red flags about foreign interference in the province’s independence referendum.

A network of 20 inauthentic YouTube accounts has racked up nearly 40 million views by peddling lies, grievance, division and narratives normalizing the prospect of Alberta’s secession and annexation by the United States. @charlesrusnell.bsky.social reports. #abpoli

BREAKING: Canadian Research Lab Just Identified US/MAGA Funded Network of 20 YouTube Accounts, 4,500 Videos, And 40 Million Views Pushing U.S. Annexation on Alberta. The accounts are more pro-annexation than the actual separatists. That, right there, is the tell.

The foreign psyops operation to promote the Donbas-style traitors in Ottawa is at work. This has Brexit style interference all over it. Will the government take steps to shut down the foreign threats to our nation?

planners: our two universities will be at the end of a peninsula and at the top of a mountain

people: won't people complain about how removed they are from the city?

planners: almost immediately

people: will rapid transit be created in response?

planners: we'll talk about it for decades, but no

If you've agreed to read a manuscript for the purposes of giving feedback and then feed it through ChatGPT to produce the feedback, you are the devil. Don't do that to your creative friends. It's not only unethical, it would put them in violation of no-AI clauses in contracts (including ours).

This needs to be taken seriously. Along with underfunding, Doug Ford is destroying the university system. And yes, this latest move is 100% in line with what we've seen happening by state-level MAGA-hats in the US.

Don’t worry, we have $2.4 billion to give to oil companies, but mail isn’t an essential service.

This is a major line being crossed by Alberta's UCP government. Throwing out the work of an independent boundaries committee is authoritarian and extremely anti-democratic.

If the UCP goes forward with this plan to gerrymander Alberta's electoral boundaries, Albertans of all partisan persuasions will be called upon to push back. And hard.

Mark Carney's decision to suspend the federal gas tax was dumb. The positions taken by Pierre Poilievre and Avi Lewis, on the other hand, were downright ludicrous.

We can do better than this, folks. We have to. #cdnpoli

So far this government has:

- removed EV mandates (and moreover paused rebates to stall the market)
- removed carbon tax
- removed low carbon electricity policy
- removed gasoline tax
- removed oil and gas cap

when does the Canadian Federal government do climate policy?

Klein: I agree that it is a revolutionary technology, that it is going to transform our economy on the scale of the Industrial Revolution.

But unlike the Industrial Revolution, which created huge numbers of jobs, the goal of this revolution is to eliminate jobs.

That's the plan. Carney is solidly a conservative, which means any taxpayer money must benefit corporations and not the public.

That’ll fix it. If there’s one thing we know it’s that when the government cuts the taxes on gas, the oil companies keep the price low for consumers. In BC, when the carbon tax was eliminated, gas stayed low and that’s why prices are….wait…hold on…I’m being told this may not be the case…
