You are correct! The facility is in Houghton, MI, on land owned by Michigan Tech. Maybe they were confusing Houghton with Houghton Lake, which is in Lower Michigan.

I'm also a Yooper, and her answer was downright ridiculous. Rent in Houghton is well below the national average, but the facility they're closing is on land owned by the local University (which has a forestry program), and they pay $1 a year! 😂

...and in the case of the facility in Houghton, it's apparently $1 a year, paid to the University!
