- if you're in the middle seat of a plane you can actually watch other people's bad plane movies. Watched two from the ppl sitting in front of me before I got bored and listened to audio book instead
- surprisingly, walking around in the airport with my plushie did not make people look at me weird

things I learned from traveling:

- never bring more than one book. you ain't gonna read it
- never bring too many art supplies. you ain't gonna use em
- planes are evil and malicious and want to suck out your aura
- you need many plushies and a blankie from home for emotional support
