Such a nice guy too. This is absolutely disgusting. Would love to see UB step up but I imagine there’s fear of retaliation. Awful

I’m a postdoc in life science! Can I get an add?
New to the field, but can I get an add?
Sal!
Thanks!
Hi there 👋 I'm studying Parkinson's and Synucleins!
Wait, it rains in California? This is after three months straight of sunshine everyday since I moved to the Bay Area. I guess I need to start checking the weather now
I’m never the most active on social media but completely agree. Any attempt at good faith discussion over there is a waste of energy. Was always good for interactions within and between fields but not much more
Glad to see so many familiar faces moving here from SciTw***** and excited to meet new people
Very excited to share the culmination of my thesis work on @biorxiv-neursci.bsky.social Through many twists and turns, what started as a project looking at a little-studied synaptic scaffolding protein in the spinal cord turned into an interesting find wrt NMDAR regulation
Exactly 6 years to the date after joining the lab as a PhD student, I’ve finally submitted my manuscript detailing the majority of my thesis. I’m sure the editors will be as thrilled to find this in their inbox the day after a holiday as I am to have finally submitted
That’s great! Congratulations Grant!
Trying my best to stay motivated as I write the figure legend for what will become Supplemental Figure 12 G
Yea it’s not great, especially with such a high APR while waiting for reimbursements. Although I intentionally got one with airline miles and was able to fly to a friends bachelor party with them so that was a plus!

My one complaint about this app is that I have to scroll backwards through posts instead of forward chronologically…unless I’m missing something?
I’ve used it each time I’ve gone and found it be really helpful for finding posters and talks by searching keywords and lab names. It’s also nice for saving things you want to see as an itinerary.
…and thank you @pkpd-babe.bsky.social for the invite code!
After everything I should have seen it coming that waiting on an antibody would be the final delay in getting the manuscript describing my thesis work out for submission. 95% done, one crucial final experiment to go. No eta
Hello #SkySci and #NeuroSkyence! I am PhD Candidate studying synaptic physiology in pain. I’m so close to graduating but there’s still just a few more hills to climb (did I mention I’m currently looking for a post doc?). Looking forward to getting to know everyone over here!
