I've travelled a few miles along the coast to Poole! This was the first place I drove to after passing my driving test, many years ago!! I haven't been back since then. So it's a sentimental journey! π₯°

Thought I'd try Harry Ramsdens for lunch. Never been before! I was served two huge sausages in batter!! Delicious, but I'm not used to eating so much! One giant sausage would have been enough!!! π
This morning I've been at Kingston Lacy NT. An amazing property, and fabulous gardens!!π³π·

Always great to see Clive Dunn pop up in Mr Benn.
Here he is in his butchers outfit from Dads Army.
He popped up in Mr Benn Zookeeper, David's way of saying we need to look after animals better - especially butchers!
Just found these pics of a holiday I had in Devon, in 2008. While there, I visited The Eden Project (actually in Cornwall!), and Plymouth, where there was torrential rain!! Lots of fun though! π

I'm off on holiday next week, and I've been going through some routes on Google maps. I don't like using satnav, I write down what I need instead. It takes me longer to go through them than actually drive them!!! π
Good morning! Here's some flowers from my past adventures... to brighten up your timeline ππ·
Thanks Jane. Spring blossom is a lovely sight πΈ

I made a conscious effort to stay away from politics when I came on social media in 2021. I wanted my account to be a happy place. I have a thriving and growing account on twitter. It's not the bad place people make out. Lots of nice people on there. Would love to see you if you ever venture over π
Yes, lots of new shops there! Nice to hear from you Steve π I've been thinking about leaving bluesky as hardly anyone seems to be interested in what I post! It's a bit demoralising. You're always very kind. I do hope you have a good day today, and you don't get too tired π₯°
I've come along to Gloucester to look around the city and enjoy some retail therapy!βΊοΈποΈ
