The fur will definitely be lighter. I plan to go up to white.
I didn’t consider going even darker with the leather. I’ll give it a think and probably a try. I can’t be bothered to strip or overpaint this dude.
Early #WIP for my Beastlord. The hair should be dirty grey/white… the leather reddish brown… but somehow I don’t like it.
Thinking of doing lighter, sickly green leather instead. Any opinions?

Burnt Umber and Cork Brown are from Vallejo. Grime and Moss are AK. The rest ist GW
Thanks! It probably has more steps than it should,but I basecoat with Burnt Umber, then drybrush with Cork Brown, then lighter with Rakarth (I think that’s not needed) and then even lighter with Ionrach Skin.I then wash diluted Streaking Grime and Moss Deposits at the same time & re-drybrush Ionrach
I think I’ll call him ready. I have no clue how to really photograph this dude, but another good boy joins the Beastmen

A wash and a drybrush. You can't really go wrong with zombies. There's a lot of times it's easy to overthink a paint job, but with these guys? Just grab a handful of paints and go for it!
