At last!!! Good to have you back!
Sleeping better.
Ken Burns’ grandfather used to spend summer vacations with us.
Y’all. We really, really need @darthbluesky.bsky.social . How do we call him? Send up a Red Panda signal? Stand in front of a potato and chant his name three times? The end of hibernation cannot come soon enough for me.
I’m sorry to say he is my rep, and he’s just dumber than a box of rocks.
I wonder what news he has to share this time?
Dear @norwayinusa.norway.no , is there right of return in your country? Asking for the great granddaughter of a Norwegian immigrant. Takk !

I only lived there for a few years, but I totally concur. You do not want to f around in any community that will boo Santa Claus. #PhillyStrong
I love that show!
A small cat curls up contentedly on a human’s lap.
Feral a month ago, ready for a lap and fireplace to call home today.
A good friend of mine is in this field, specifically YA, and report that sales are cratering. Deeply troubling for all connected.
@nickalexcongressga.bsky.social any chance you can show up for the sign waving event Habersham Democrats are organizing for Thursday 1/15 from 3-5? Details on their FB page. Would be great to see you there!
Sometimes your posts bring me to tears. In a good way. ❤️
I’ve had a couple of budgies and a Quaker, and I agree, there’s a kind of sweet dustiness to them. Or dusty sweetness? ;)
I thought Anatolian! The best. We have one who lives full time with our goats. A house-Anatolian sounds wonderful. ❤️
He has “morality?”
Lord have mercy! If I lived in Greenland, or were a Danish citizen—or that of any Nordic country—there is no financial incentive that could persuade me to approve being controlled by America with this country in its current state.
More and more I’m starting to wonder if he’s not a sleeper agent.
Well, he was born Steve Wawa, but changed his last name and the rest is history.
Of all the wtf mornings, this may be the wtfiest. So far.
And yet, there’s nothing like a college town, is there. I moved away a few years ago and never stop missing it.
Also: when the frat party breaks up at 2 am and two drunk girls spend a half hour on the sidewalk in front of your house screaming, “F you!” “No F you!” Over and over and over. Tossup which is the more tedious experience.
Praying for that asteroid to hit December 12 or so.
Bummer. I’ve been dreading this day. Wishing you a good winter’s rest, see you on the other side.
“I long to paint Marmee at her toils one day,” murmured Amy, coiling an already-perfect gossamer curl around a finger. Somewhere in the room, Beth coughed weakly.
“Christmas won’t be Christmas without that gloppy bivalve soup Marmee likes to serve at the holidays,” exclaimed Jo, lying on a rug near the hearth, a book propped in front of her. Her sisters cooed in agreement. “Just what Pilgrim would have craved for his journey,” agreed practical Meg.
When I was growing up my mother insisted on making oyster stew on Christmas Eve. She claimed it was a dish my father grew up with and requested. I have no idea if that is true, all I know is that it was like a bowl of hot cream and butter with lumps of phlegm in it. 🤢
My daughter, in her bat mitzvah presentation: God is not a people person.
Disapproving budgie.
