Yes, exactly. I normally would agree with @raphlife.bsky.social but I think ARC Raiders is actually a unique case where there are deep game-play implications if a full PvE only mode was added. The normal game as a byproduct would probably become 100% shoot-on-sight.
What I think this debate highlights is how the general audience is actually just desperate for quality made games with a unique vision / ip
If we are just talking PvE only events (like a map modifier) I think that is a little different. But, my worry would be adding PvE only maps events would make "normal" PvPvE maps more hostile. And pose some questions about power scaling loot.

I think players wanting a PvE only version of the game want a different game. Something with similar aesthetics + game loop + deeper player vs arc/environment interactions.
I think the entire game would need to be rebalanced for PvE only
I think what makes the game special is that it is a microcosm of human interactions. The frustration of being robbed by a player makes a successful extraction weighty.
Imo, removing PvP is the first step of designing a totally different game.

Ideally you could be compensated for the time you put into the feed without ads - but we don't live in an ideal world. I appreciate your labor. If ads need to happen to support your work - so be it. Sounds like you already figured out the main issues of labeling ads and % of ads in the feed so ๐

Terrain is placeholder, too detailed for perf. Working on vertex color interpolation / texturing and a lower-poly model.
