if i was still a race reporter, i'd maybe write about how the image looks almost exactly like the image on the first edition on the cover of the deeply racist novel "the camp of the saints" which is in vogue with the racists running this country (and beyond).

(*i'm still a reporter, really)

A DOJ lawyer accused Harvard of ‘indifference to antisemitism.’ As a Harvard undergrad he wrote a paper from Hitler’s perspective. - The Boston Globe Michael Velchik once also told a peer that "Mein Kampf" was among his favorite recent reads.

the DOJ atty (& 2x Harvard grad) who suggested Harvard showed "wanton indifference to antisemitism" once wrote a paper from the perspective of Hitler & expressed admiration for Mein Kampf

Faith, Power, And The Black Middle Class: Johnnie Colemon’s Legacy During her life, her Christ Universal Temple was the largest church congregation in Chicago and the largest church in the world headed by a Black woman.

She built a 4,000-seat sanctuary, a theological school, and a Black-led spiritual empire—before “megachurch” was a word.

Johnnie Colemon didn’t just preach abundance. She operationalized it.

I wrote about her legacy for Forbes BLK:

Random pet peeve of mine is people who talk shit about Chihuahuas. They are such a smart and loyal dogs. It’s not their fault that their owners treat them like toys. I miss my Norton.

Local TV news has stood out during this fire coverage here in LA. It’s been accessible to most people (you can watch for free if you have a tv and an antenna) and unlike digital content, it doesn’t require paying to bypass a paywall to access coverage. #lafires

Just doing some math. The US has 195 F- 22 planes at $135 million a piece. 1 F-22 would pay for 2600 fire fighters. One expensive aircraft carrier (13 B), would fund the LA fire department for 12-15 years.

What we are not gonna do is come for Patti LaBelle over her support of a gay man. Miss Patti was an ally long before that ish was cool. The people who are giving her grief are the reason Luther staid in the closet.
