Also, it might not be on the Sabatoge 3D model, but there is a cannonball embedded in the wall about a foot to the right of the front door.

I grew up right next to the Manassas battlefield and have spent many an hour sitting in traffic on the road that passed right if front of the old stone house. Yours looks great! I particularly like the effect you achieved on the stonework.

I recently moved out to the country back in home state of Virginia. It’s beautiful here but I do miss my weekly gaming club back in Nashville. Looking back on my last game at the club a couple months back. Final battle of our Roman conquest of Britannia campaign.

28mm is always pretty but 15mm just feels right for COC. Great looking game.

The bundle with all late imperial STLs (I haven’t even used all the sculpts here) is $60. Looking at just the legionaries, have 21x legionaries 11 bases for a total of 231 models. The same number of metal legionaries from Pendraken would run $82 plus shipping. Resin cost is negligible.

I absolutely love them. My only complaint is the occasional weak ankle. I do find that 3d sculpts tend to have more detail than traditional metals in small scales. If you’re a glutton for punishment, it can be hard to resist painting every holstered sword hilt and strap in 10mm.

10mm imperial Romans. 3D prints from Cromarty forge. The bulk of the army was painted last summer but I have been adding some support elements over this past year.

Interesting idea. I wonder how well one could drape a mat over top of these rather than having to texture and flock them.

Jump in! I found 10mm opened up new periods for me because everything just seemed less daunting.

Haha honestly I have lost a sword or two over 9-10 games with them. Spent an hour looking over the army to find where to glue it back on before deciding it obviously wasn’t noticeable enough to bother.

10mm Ancients Briton army. 10mm 3d Prints from Cromarty Forge STLs. The chariots looks cool, but have proven a liability on the tabletop. Almost as if everybody else stopped using them in the Bronze age for a reason.

Love your terrain set up there. The grid completely disappears with the fields you have painted on your mat.

News and Events: Turn IV A glorious victory in Britannia – but dearly bought.   Reeling from his defeat at the hands of Legios IX and II, Caratacus spent the turn retreating to Iceni territory.  The Romans were h…

Latest update from our club’s Britannia campaign. A great battle this turn. The type of outnumbered last stand you only get in a campaign context.

One of the Roman players last game though my custom Briton encampment far outshined his legionaries’ digs. I just couldn’t let that stand, so I had to make a more substantial Roman fort. STLs from Cromarty Forge. 10mm files printed at 70% so this thing doesn’t take up too much real estate.

What ancients rules do you tend to use?

I’m blown away each time you post one of these army shots. Excellent work. Out of curiosity, are you sharing armies you have had for years or are you in the most prolific hobby streak of all time?

I recognize those palm trees! Used the same ones on my jungle project. You might already have some exciting plans in mind but I was really pleased with the results of gluing some loose coconut fiber on the very top of the trunk. Also sprayed the lower leaves brown. Excited to see how yours turns out

That army looks fantastic! Some really nice pops of color make them shine. How did you find the red copper miniatures? Do you think they would shrink down to 10mm and still be robust enough to withstand clumsy fingers?

Still working on the campaign website updates, but we had a great game in our Britannia campaign the other night. Roman assault on a Briton hill fort. It did not go well for the Romans.

I’m working on these same sculpts in 10mm right now. Yours turned out great!

Still a work in progress but I’m really happy with how the shields are turning out on these Cromarty Forge Iberian spearmen.
