I know we're all tired and exhausted from the state of the world right now, that's by design. But right here, right now. This is the time where our energy is needed most. Where maybe, just maybe, we can force change to actually happen.

So grit your teeth, plant your feet, and say it with your chest

For those of us unable or unwilling to sacrifice everything to set the system on fire. This is our duty.

What happens in the coming months, if this wave of resitance causes change or gets crushed by the system, is going to depend as much on the narrative as on the fires.

And the conversation NEEDS to focus on this, so that we keep the pressure on the rich assholes doing all of this social violence. So that they know we stand united against them. That their lies and misdirections will not work. That if they want this to stop, they need to curb their greed.

But the conversation needs to be steered by the rest of us. We need to make it clear that these are not deranged lunatics just destroying things for no good reason. This is the inevitable result of the actions taken by the ruling class. This is the last resort of people who just have nothing to lose

And none of this is me saying you should go out and commit violence yourself. The people who do these things are doing so knowing the full wrath of the state is going to crash down on them. They're going to be martyrs and I for one have no desire to be one myself, and most of you shouldn't either

And I think we need to change the conversation in the mainstream. People are saying "violence is never the answer but I understand why they're doing it" and I think we just need to drop that first part. Violence is the last resort, but that's just *where we are now*

So when people start burning down warehouses and shooting up homes to leave warning messages, when they start throwing molotovs at billionaire houses, when everything that's going on happens. These people are not the agressors, they are the victims defending themselves from intense violence

And they don't really bother hiding it. They tell obvious lies, or sometimes even gloat and go mask off about it. They make moves to position themselves to do even worse to us and boast about how they intend to rig the system. They know nobody will stop them, that legal means of recourse are dead

This is where we are now. We've tried for ages to rein in the ultrarich and the corrupt politicians through the acceptable means. It isn't working, we live in a time where the government just ignores the law and kills and abducts people off the street. Or starts a war. Or cuts the little aid we get

But what about when all those measures fail. When protests are shut down with violence. Petitions are ignored, meetings with the public canceled or complaints at them is ignored and mocked. When the man behind the desk breaks the law and faces no repurcusion. When every nonviolent recourse fails.

Decades of propaganda have made us treat the man behind a desk in a government building as someone we can't protect ourselves from. And to a certain extent this is valid right? We can't just go executing every poltician who makes decisions we don't like. There's nonviolent measures for that.

So then, if a gunman on a rampage being killed is self defense. How is it that the man acting with the same amount of malice and killing people from behind a desk is not considered a viable target for self defense?

We've been conditioned to believe these things are different. But are they really?

If a man is using his political power to cut funding for food stamps and will result in hundreds of deaths, how exactly is that less violent than that man just going to the soup kitchen with a gun and opening fire? He is still wielding a weapon, the state, and killing people.

Ok but unironically, this is a concept we as a society need to come to grips with, so I'm gonna use this as a springboard to talk about it

So my mechanism is maybe not the healthiest but my logic-driven brain rationalizes it as such. Basically every belief system in the world agrees that if you die from self-harm you go to their Bad Place.
