yes it is. Not a botanist but viburnums really are a diverse lot.

Not keen on learning from history? Spanish flu had a huge impact on WWI with battle plans being adjusted as troop movements were influenced by infection.

Love this shrub though doesn't stay like this for long

I have no idea about roulette but I found a similar movement with hand drawn dial with numbers for roulette. This one may have been another game of chance.
Google lens suggests a pocket roulette wheel!
No idea. Clearly not the original dial. Not seen the like in my clock collecting or scientific instrument collecting.
Reform UKβs new leader in Worcestershire, Alan Amos - he not only believes in the EU, but even once argued for us to join the Euro.

We get that in our Acer all bees and wasps loud buzzing.
I did post this elsewhere but I bought an infrared torch and it does a much better job

I did post this elsewhere but I bought an infrared red torch which does a much better job that the remote and is less visible to the camera

There are some pretty enormous modern humans in schools these days. Not at all unusual for GCSE students to need to duck to go through a doorway.
Not got my filter yet but I bought an infrared torch
Good luck, Hungary. We're rooting for you out here today.
Hey remember this post? Wtf happened...
your roof needs attention or you will get rot. I lived on Brownsea for a while they are very noisy. Voracious too once saw one gobble a sand lizard.

Adam hilger constant deviation wavelength spectrometer, I need to set up the prism correctly. This one is a later model than my others.π§ͺ
Thankyou. I think i need to dal back on the UV too it gets a bit much for the camera.

After all that effort to get an example of anti stokes the phone let me down by picking up the IR. Still here is my video. π§ͺvideo shows various demos using a uv torch

This is Gobshite Whack-a-Mole
I have been looking for an example of anti stokes to show students. I found some printing ink that glows red under IR which would be ideal but can't get a sample.
so that is anti stokes?
I have one now but can only find 1064nm LED as laser diodes. Also this is said to glow green under 1064nm whch sounds more like something to do with harmonics than anti stokes as it is half the wavelength.
It used to be all mouth AND trousers suggesting the target had a lot of bluster with nothing to back up the illusion provided by tailoring. Although it was an insult directed at men it seems apt for Badenoch who spouts a lot but really there is not much there
They are a great historical connection. The DLR in particular.
We have a colony of 30, descendants of 3 who are still there too 12 years on. We have a nursery viv for hatchlngs who get sold on.
I don't know how to corroborate this, google lens is no help. However I have been driving over 50 years and I no longer have to clear squashed insects from my car. Some of that may be down to car design but pretty sure most isn't.
Chocolate science is amazing. Had a talk on it at an IOP event in Nottingham and have also discussed it at the National Crystallography centre in Southampton
