One arm rests lazily gripping a scepter that on close examination could be a long slender spacecraft with spherical bow section. The other hand is cupped palm up with dozens of planets hovering just above as if within its sovereignty. A tall shiny helmet floats empty just above the statue's shoulders. Broken concrete cylinders rise on diagonals from left to right backed by soft blue sky threading through white cloud cover. Framed by rusted metal and rough eroded stone, a woman sits within a circular opening hugging one knee to her chest with a hand resting on the opposite shoulder. Her other arm extends down the length of her leg to rest on her foot. Her face is turned to the audience, but her eyes are closed. Lost in contemplation, she is posed naked except for a long white scarf that winds over her shoulder and twists around her arm to drape down freely. In the distant background, a few concrete pylons still stand vertically as gulls soar past. A yellow line of color barely creeps into the low panel, a contrast to the otherwise cool sky.
