What the Iowa legislature passed today is pure evil.

It helps nobody, saves no taxpayer dollars, achieves nothing.

It’s hate for hate’s sake. They don’t like some people so they’ll hurt them and they’ll use the law to do it.

Last post. It was harder to narrow this down than I thought, which is a good thing!

August 31st- got a text from my buddy the day before asking what I was doing for the game. He lives a time zone away so don’t get to see him as much as I’d like. But he had tickets to the opener and that was that!

#4 Two Goats

It’s getting harder to pick, and therefore omit, certain pics. So today I’m going with two.

☝🏼 is from May 10- Donut Hut is a family favorite in town. Make the drive, it’s worth it. Al is the best.

✌🏼 is a Bleachers concert from May 22. It was great to have some one on one time with my spouse.

#2 - April 8th. Tagged along to a conference in San Antonio. Hadn’t been there since the Alamo Bowl in ‘06.

Felt great to spend some time reading and lounging by the pool. Swam some laps outside, not something you get to do in April in the Midwest!

Gonna try to wind down the year by posting some things that elicit gratitude, reflection, or just fun.

#1- January 2, 2024. Our daughter watching out the window for Grandpa.

My father passed away in 2022. I feel so grateful that my FIL is everything a Grandpa should be. She’s his biggest fan.
