Today I rose in the Legislative Assembly of BC to deliver a statement on Medical Laboratory Week.

Throughout BC, streets will fill with community spirit and colour as Sikh families and friends gather to celebrate Vaisakhi.
Vaisakhi marks the founding of the Khalsa in 1699 – and remains one of the most sacred and joyous days in the Sikh calendar.

These are serious charges against Hon Chan, approved after a full investigation and meeting a high legal threshold. Removing him from caucus is necessary, but not enough. The Conservative Party of BC should have him resign.

I’m so pleased to see that Tumbler Ridge is now a finalist for the Kraft Hockeyville contest. In the days after the tragedy, the local rink became a gathering place for residents to support each other.
Starting April 3rd, vote for Tumbler Ridge to become the next Hockeyville!🏒
Thank you to the Vancouver Coastal Association of Family Councils - VCAFC for having me speak at their 'Building Bridges' live forum!
Your support and education of long-term care regulations through resident and family engagement is essential to improving the quality of life for our seniors.
It’s devastating to victims and their families when an intimate image is shared without consent.
The sharing of intimate images without consent is wrong and now you could be fined up to $75,000.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Cousteau, l'école française internationale de Vancouver in North Van.
By offering both the French and British Columbia curriculums, Directrice Cécile Dione and her incredible team have built a close-knit community where students are truly supported to thrive.
Construction began in Summer 2025 and completed in February 2026, one of many examples of how innovative solutions are helping to build schools faster, on budget, support growing communities, and give our students the modern, safe, classrooms they deserve.
This addition was prefabricated, using a mass-timber panelized system, planned, designed, and constructed to the key components of Clean BC. The building was partially electrified and uses energy-efficient lighting and mechanical equipment throughout.
I was proud to attend the opening of the beautiful new addition at Westview Elementary (Ta na wa Ns7éyxnitm tlá Teltíwet) this morning!
We’ve added four new classrooms and 100 new seats to help meet enrolment growth and ensure space for kids closer to home.

I recently met with the @alzheimerssoc.bsky.social to discuss awareness and to support the work towards clinical pathways.
They provide support to those who need it, and campaign to make dementia a priority, and fund groundbreaking research. Thank you for all you do!
