Rico Suave energy.
John Eastman (L, with Giuliani on Jan 6), is disbarred. Eastman wasn't just a leader in Jan 6 legal schemes, he had his fingers in many dirty pies. An "Article V" convention to rewrite the Constitution. Fighting gay marriage in the 2000s as part of NOM, which became a vector of Russian influence. 1/

A couple units less of Botox, and she could feed a family of six for a month.
The same week the NYTimes was devoting its significant resources to producing this ridiculous piece about Lauren Sanchez Bezos's call for rich people to not worry and be happy, Ryan Hass, an independent journalist in Oregon, was investigating this horrifying story about a death in an Amazon plant.

The advantage of being a non-traditional student. The speakers always looked relieved when the final question came from a 50-something white lady. I still remember getting Bob Ehrlich to make an absolute ass of himself, then some kid in the 85+ class airdropped me a meme: Are you Sarah Connor?
Half the semester was given over entirely to guest speakers. All conservative, and always unannounced. Each class, I’d learn who was speaking, fact-check them in real time, then raise my hand when they called for the final question. I’d get them to repeat the lie aloud, and then let it rip.
So when I see Richard E. Vatz presented as a neutral authority on higher education, I think readers should know the broader record. Credentials can tell you where someone worked. They do not tell you how the person used their platform.
Heimbach later became one of the most visible white supremacist organizers in the country, founding the Traditionalist Worker Party and emerging as a central figure in the Charlottesville Unite the Right rally.

The semester I took Vatz’s course, guest speakers included Molly Hemingway of the Federalist Society. He served as faculty sponsor for Towson’s chapter of Youth for Western Civilization, the student group led by Matthew Heimbach during his rise on campus.

He publicly argued that addiction was largely a matter of self-control, opposed insurance coverage for conditions like ADHD and addiction, and claimed many forms of mental illness were not real, making only limited exceptions for what he considered “genuine brain diseases.”
The Baltimore Sun chose Richard E. Vatz to provide "guest commentary" about college testing accommodations.
Vatz was one of my professors at Towson. He taught rhetoric, but was well known for views that read more like ideology than scholarship.

Paging Tom Steyer, who has poured many multi-millions into vanity political office runs.
I'm really looking forward to this! The Conspiracists Screening + Q&A at Curzon Soho, April 22 with Deborah Frances-White of @theguiltyfeminist.bsky.social.
My first book was filled with quotes from the Pittsburgh Gazette from the 1780s and 90s. Amazing for this newspaper to be still going 240 years later. Glad to see it under capable ownership.
@ericswalwell.bsky.social still hasn’t bothered to post on Bluesky, but on X he’s framing this as an apology for past "mistakes in judgment,” while never mentioning remorse for abusing his power to exploit women.
Sexual assault is not poor judgment. It is violence against another person.
most men are disappointing
Take a look at the CNN sourcing and fact-checking on their Swalwell article. Look at how many extra people they contacted in order to corroborate claims. They viewed screenshots, called parents/husbands/friends/colleagues. They viewed TV footage and interviews, & more. Two things worth pointing out:
What about him? Stone is an awful opportunist, ready to exploit anything and anyone around him. Swalwell admits that he has made "mistakes" recently, apparently with young staffers, and it's a family matter. No it's not. It's Swalwell establishing that he is already comfortable abusing his power.
"We Believe."
Outside the Supreme Court on September 28, 2018.
Entitled men like Swalwell rarely do anything for the greater good. It's all about him.
Gen Alpha will march one day to tear it down.
"He also says that he has made mistakes ... but that those mistakes are between him and his wife." GTFOH.
For the longest time I could never remember how to spell this dude’s name, so I just called him Eric Smarmy. I mean, look at him.
I hate it. I want it gone and can't figure out how to disable it.
Republicans have normalized war crimes and protecting pedophiles.
What a fucking shit show.
Screenshot of an X post from verified account Jamie Raskin (@jamie_raskin). The post reads: “The multiple reports of sexual assault and misconduct by women staffers and others about Rep. Swalwell are detailed, disturbing, corroborated by contemporaneous accounts and all too compelling. These allegations are disqualifying in many ways. He should follow the advice of his campaign chairman and California colleagues and end his campaign. My thoughts are with the survivors.” Timestamp at bottom says 6:21 PM · Apr 10, 2026, with 44.9K views. Profile photo shows Raskin at a podium.
One of the few politicians I trust is Jamie Raskin. So, yes. I am going with this.
