... but I finished playing all four shows of the second opera while sick XD (masked and drinking water basically every other recit)

Gonna finally get some rest now

Is this a thing other musicians go through? You bring back something you learned like 5+ or 10+ yrs ago and just go "???!!?!??"
Me continuing to go through older rep and also continuing to go, in much frustration, "WHY WAS MY YOUNGER SELF SUCH A DUM DUM"
(context, am bringing back the Debussy trio, which I last performed *before* going for a music degree)
Also, my teacher at the time drew little faces all over the place to remind me to breathe XD
Younger me, your future, professional self honestly wonders how you functioned as a musician
(aka I'm revisiting rep from when I was early in music school for an upcoming recital and I'm flabbergasted at my lack of markings and bad muscle memory habits is trying to push me back to)

Of all the places I could've stashed a tuning key while moving, a knitting project bag with an inactive project in it was not on my radar
YouTube has really decided to throw all the nostalgia at me XD
On that note, I should really rewatch Gundam Wing from an adult perspective
... really this applies to a lot of older anime though
Plus sides of moving: new space, able to better personalize and set up for storage/recording/living, don't have to tiptoe around housemate's schedule, also quiet and super walkable

A little sad, bc I did try to keep a schedule and wow some of those VODs and highlights were old! (I think the Bioshock Infinite one where I mentioned getting a new dog... while said dog today is currently 12, blind, and suffering from arthritis 💗)
Due to the Twitch storage rule change and an impending deadline, I sat down and... cleared up everything in the "Highlights" section (which I'd used to hold onto old VODs).
Did back up some playthroughs though.
TBH, I think my Twitch streaming days are over; may consider Youtube if I stream again

So I finally finished knitting this shawl over the weekend XD Not blocked yet and has many ends to weave in, but it took me 4 months and I'm very pleased with it :)
