There have been some significant changes made to the v2 addon by default RFC today, so it will remain in FCP (final comment period) for one more week github.com/emberjs/rfcs...
If there are no objections, it will move to accepted in one week 🎉 go read it and share any feedback you might have!

I think in the context we want to know which of these performance optimisations you think we should document 😂
Now that @emberjs.com is using @vite.dev by default 🎉 we would love to hear some feedback from the community on what info you would like to see in the Ember guides related to Vite.
If you have any suggestions, please add a comment to this issue: github.com/ember-learn/...

We're trying to find ways the web platform can be improved for frameworks, what new primitives can be added, or what can be changed. We'll be talking about templating today, come join!
" @emberjs.com is much simpler than @react.dev these days" 😱
Wow that's some spicey takes but I'm here for it! 🌶️
"That is how you can incrementally migrate your @react.dev app to @emberjs.com" 😂
it's not often that you see @tanstack.com Router show up in an @emberjs.com talk 😂 this is real mad science and I'm loving it!!!
I've personally done everything that @nullvoxpopuli.com is doing right now, but I'm still on the edge of my seat! 🍿 this is a wonderful talk, and a really wonderful way to give a talk too!
This really feels like the promise we made a million years ago of "npm installing your way to Ember"
I'm loving this talk so far 😍
and it lives! we have a hello world demo working 🎉
... but how do we do routing 🤔 it's funny how quickly you need to start thinking about application concerns!
lol trying to build an Ember app without installing ember-source 🤣 whoops!
This is a really bottom-up approach to render something to screen with @emberjs.com
It's really cool to get a feel for this level of detail, even if you don't end up using this in your own app
Another live coding talk 🎉 really loving the meeup vibes we have going right now 😍
"What is the absolute minimum thing we can get away with"
I get the feeling that I'm going to like this talk 😂
Next up for @embereurope.org we have @nullvoxpopuli.com with his talk "What even is an App" 🎉
Changes for plugin authors: nothing
More software should be built like this, not requiring everybody to change everything about their apps if the underlying build system needs to change.
Wonderful to see it work at the scale of @discourse.org 😍
Ha ha I just noticed you squatted on the npm package 2 hours ago 😉 nice work! No notes!
Maybe you don't need Module Federation... what about a simpler version...
Introducing Module Mesh! (great name btw @davidtaylorhq.bsky.social ❤️)
The solution to all our problems: Module Federation 🎉
... but nobody can use it properly because of a Safari bug 😭 we can't safely use top-level await in our bundles because of this bug.
This is why we can't have nice things 🫠
I'm loving the history lesson about AMD and how the old world was built. It also gets to the **why** we're doing all this work to modernise @emberjs.com build tools 💪
I love @discourse.org 's plugin system! It's really pushing the posibilities of what people can do with JS in a runtime changeable way 😱
Next up for @embereurope.org we have @davidtaylorhq.bsky.social talking about @discourse.org @vite.dev and @emberjs.com 🎉
wow not only are we live coding, we're live prompting the agents to port a react component to Ember 😱
"porting this to ember is just no effort" that is what I like to hear 💪
"let's verfiy that I'm not lying by editing one of these files" 😂
Very fast reload times, wow modern @emberjs.com just feels great 😍
wow! live coding at a meetup is always very exciting 😂 you never know what you're going to get
Nice plug asking for contributions of components 😂 I love a talk that has homework for the people watching 📚🧑💻
wow they have their production app on @vite.dev 8 already 🎉💪 that's great to hear ❤️
@ignacemaes.com is live now at @embereurope.org with his demo of shadcn-ember!! looking forward to this talk
