We’ve placed the available videos of the shooting of Alex Pretti by federal agents in Minneapolis today into the same synchronised timeline and are continuing to analyse further.

Scott Creek after some weekend rain ☔️
That’s right. Seabright recovered within a few months of Jan 2023, most of Main Beach as well. Its Beach is still recovering. The same thing occurred after the 1998 ENSO event
Great video. Ive studied Its Beach pretty closely over the last year, and your videos have helped me a lot. Thanks for sharing these.
NBA officials plant bamboo along their neighbor’s fence line and don’t tell them
You called it!
One way to be a patriot right now is not to engage in doomerism. These people are fascists and they’re very dangerous. But they’re also weak, undisciplined, and unpopular. And they’re losing.
this is like drake and kendrick lamar but they're both drake
That is awful… I’ve been wondering whether the state bill I’ve heard about (to set up a state level scientific research body) will pan out and create some reprieve. It seems sorely needed
I had no idea about that. Fascinating
They’ve been a major help in restoring not just kelp forests in Central California in recent years, but also tidal marshes (where they predate on invasive crabs that tunnel and destabilize marsh edges). Also they’re damn cute
Bandwagoners from 5 years ago
hmmm that’s weird. I’m at a rock show of a band I loved 20 years ago and most of the audience is gray-haired or bald. yet I am in the bloom of youth and very cool. something to monitor.
Lovely day at Moonstone Beach
Looking upstream from the mouth of Santa Rita Creek (Moonstone Beach, Cambria Creek, CA)
Inlet migration at the mouth of Santa Rita Creek (Cambria, CA). The inlet is slowly cutting into its south bank and migrating down the beach.
Man, that Secret of Mana reference hit me with some unexpected dopamine
Just a reminder: having a functional moral compass right now is going to make you feel bad all the time; don’t mistakenly hate yourself for that.
Hey Bay Area friends, see below from Kathy Boyer on what we can all do to save the EOS center
So nice to have a team with chemistry and hope again. Can’t wait for next season

This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.
Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."
Tbh, if he keeps releasing water from Lake Success and Lake Kaweah, he’d accidentally restore #TulareLake … so uhh, maybe we just keep it going?
Giving up our global R&D advantage to score political points
A statement from House Natural Resources Committee Ranking Member Jared Huffman (D-CA), which criticized the Trump administration’s plan, said that “many USGS locations need to be field-based to do important monitoring for things like earthquake and volcanic activity. They also operate stream gauges that provide critical flood warnings for cities and towns near rivers.” “Shuttering USGS offices is a short-sighted move that will severely weaken our nation’s ability to monitor natural hazards, manage water resources, and understand how our environment is changing,” said Kristen Averyt, executive vice president for science at the American Geophysical Union, a nonprofit organization that represents Earth scientists, in an emailed statement. “This decision would undermine decades of scientific infrastructure that directly serve the American public and puts both lives and livelihoods at risk.”
Glad to see someone finally bringing attention to USGS!
Listen to Dr. Rick Spinrad, NOAA administrator under the Biden Administration, discuss how Trump's dismantling of NOAA increases the dangers for people in the U.S.
Pop Tart is calzone?
We can’t afford to FAFO on this one. Spread the word
Looks awesome. There almost seems to be a progression in your designs (I can see a bit of Atlantis, Paris, Shangri La in this). FWIW your levels helped my family and me to weather the pandemic, and are helping me get through whatever it is we’re in now. Kudos
Awesome. Would love to read that as well. Amazing how many parallels there still are with that place and time period
