Every time I watch ALIEN I am transfixed thinking to myself "there's no way they've left themselves enough room to get the third horizontal line in that E without it looking like a squashed-in mess!" but no, every single time there it is, and it's beautiful. Most tense part of the movie tbh.

This weekend I opened up Unity and decided to make a prototype inspired by '10 second war', where you can record your actions and replay them via clones to try finish a level as quick as possible. Clone movements and actions are recorded, but enemies reactions are realtime. #gamedev
Tango Gameworks (Hi-Fi Rush, The Evil Within) has officially relaunched, with a new look, website, and hiring for an unannounced action game.
The studio was closed by Microsoft a few years after its acquisition, but revived by Krafton.

Atomfall is a really smart piece of design. A relatively small team who put together an open world RPG with loads of novel ideas. It was great to finally get answers to how they pulled it off.
I enjoyed the OG movies and the prequels of course, but as I kid what I really loved from Star Wars were games
In 2008 GameTrailers did a comprehensive 10-part retrospective of all SW videogames (that released by that point) and it was so enlightening! Def a comfort watch now

It forgets where you are you each time you look at the floor and soft-locks when it's to dark. A technological marvel.

I got to finish my review of #Atomfall for accessibility and the game surprised me what it had! There's a lot to be praised for what the team at @rebellion.com have done even for blind players while missing key features like a screen reader or nav assist.
