Out of the blue, I got a request from a Will Eisner fan in Germany for a sketch card, showing Will with The Spirit. It took me a while to get to it, but I sent it off last week.

The last shot of "Vendetta of a Samurai" (1952, d. Kazuo Mori) is an amazing piece of filmmaking and acting. I drew an homage to what Toshiro Mifune does in that closeup of 25 seconds or so.
