Started self-help CBT today. Made myself cry. Reckon I’m a pretty good therapist to be fair. Fucking proud of the journey I’m currently on.
Also, we’re a weekend away from making it to the Ber months! Those who struggle in the heat, our time is coming!

That first half of the film, I was close to tears with some of the delivery of the humour. The cast is exceptional. People have moaned about Brosnan a little from things I’ve seen but I thought he was excellent

Really enjoyed The Thursday Murder Club. The first half is hilarious. Genuinely laugh out loud moments. Helen Mirren and Celia Imrie are just a delight. The ending is a bit abrupt, and there’s things that I don’t think happen in the book, but that was a thoroughly enjoyable evenings entertainment.

Went for an early walk this morning before the inevitable storms arrive. As plans have altered quite a bit, it’s time to be a little bit selfish and do some stuff I want to do for the next couple of days. Hopefully the planning and creative parts of my brain agree with this, and each other.

Even the moo cows have had enough of my BS on my walk tonight!

Decided on an earlier walk today due to a bit of a crappy early afternoon. Started with the same face as this dude but ended it much happier. The rain looks like it’s on its way so it may be time to find a plan b for walking on the worst days.

Bank Holiday weekend working is done. That felt like a very long one! But now 4 days off. Lots of things to plan, minimal things to actually do, no appointments booked at any hospitals (although that’s not guaranteed). Let’s see if I can remember what it’s like to be free for a few days

I don’t drink much any more but this…this I could be tempted with.

These night walks are getting darker. We’ve nearly reached the Ber months!!! Also feeling proud of myself this evening because I’ve officially lost one whole fucking Stone since the start of June 💪

Last bank holiday before Christmas:
1) I am working more hours than the usual Saturday-Monday run
2) I am the only one there from midday today until Monday evening
3) This week has opened my mind to so many realisations. I have a lot to sort out and time to do it in between customers.

Very energetic and sporty day today, which has knackered me out, but it was fun to play Foot Pool and then get on the monthly leaderboard at the mini golf…fuming I was only 3rd though 😂

It’s been a tough couple of months and today was my first day of freedom from any responsibility. Got to spend it in one of my favourite places with one of my favourite humans, @rustymoon88.bsky.social. Food was consumed, ducks came to visit, and a seriously cute cat said hello. Wholesome day out! 😊

Still thinking about what hex this duck was casting earlier. I hope it worked for them. I feel there should be more witchy ducks in this world.
