Four years ago, when Russia launched their full scale invasion of Ukraine, for every Ukrainian the life has changed forever. I am alive thanks to our armed forces. But the horrors that we endure daily - when you are scared to open the news, because you know that Russia killed somebody again…

Last night, I woke up at 4 AM because of the explosion sounds. Ukraine was heavily shelled again. I do not understand how is this not on every front page of every media. Russia tries to freeze us to death, in the middle of Europe, in 2026, and not many people seem to care.

What can you possibly find there in such a short amount of time? The men responds: I’m looking for an obituary. The seller says: but the obituaries are at the back of the paper! The man says: the one that I’m looking for will be on the front page.

There is one old soviet joke.Every morning a man comes to a newspaper seller, watches the paper for a second and leaves. One day the seller loses his patience and asks a men: what are you doing? Today I watched a wonderful documentary about the greatest Ukrainian Olympic athlete - Olga Kharlan. It is also about Ukrainian kids, training during the war time. The film is heartwarming, touching and inspiring. There are English subs.

So please remember, when Putin and his friends from different countries talk about surrendering land, they do not mean just land. They also mean people.

I support this initiative for many years. This year I picked a letter from a child from Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. I am watching a photo report from there right now and it’s impossible not to cry. These are innocent children, these are OUR children. We will never ever betray them.

Then the volunteers from all over Ukraine can pick one or several letters, buy the goods that are listed there and send them to the organizers. Then the organizers travel to the locations with children (often these locations are near the front line), and create truly unforgettable events for kids.

The St Nicholas Reindeers is a charity organization that makes holiday events for Ukrainian children affected by war. They gather the letters with children’s wishes. (1/n)

Russia attacked a kindergarten in Kharkiv today. Seeing the those pure innocent children being rescued, crying, broke my heart immensely. We leave in the cruelest reality.

The article published in the Russian STATE media says: “There is no other option. No one in Ukraine should stay alive”. If anyone still has any illusions, this explains the daily attacks by Russia against civilians. At least 28 people died in Kyiv last night after they bombed an apartment building.
