Bishop Humphrey Southern took his last service as Principal of Cuddesdon on Sunday at the final residential weekend for part-time students for this year. Our Chair of Governors, Bishop Michael Ipgrave, preached.

The Wilberforce chapel is still intact though upstairs so not fully accessible. It is still used. Also the very earliest (small) chapel in the original College House is now part of our reception area.

We are delighted to announce that the Reverend Mark Earey has been appointed our new Tutor in Ministry and Mission. He will take up his post in January 2025 coming from The Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham, where he has been Director of Anglican Formation and Tutor in Liturgy and Worship since 2007.

Today at our Friends & Former Members day some returned to receive their academic certificates, one of our governors Prof Jenn Strawbridge preached and Dr Stephen Burns spoke about Coconut Theology. Next we hear reminiscences from Ripon Hall students on the merger, 50yrs ago with Cuddesdon College.

Yesterday was College Photo day at our main Cuddesdon site for all those students studying there, their families & our staff team.
And today, as part of our Quiet Day during our Cross-Pathways Easter Residential at Ripon College Cuddesdon we shared in a Forest Church Eucharist. I love the breadth of our expressions of worship.

Our Principal, Bishop Humphrey Southern, has indicated to governors his decision to retire later in the year after ten years of service to the College.
